Fractured Cliché #10

As you may have noticed, there’s no pattern to my fractured clichés. Sometimes I am totally off the mark and other times I simply mix up the words. Regardless of the reason, they never work. Here are a few where I used the right words in the wrong order. Interesting how something so small can make such a big difference.

Fractured Cliché: When life gives you lemonade, make lemons

Correct Cliché: When life gives you lemons, make lemonade

Fractured Cliché: I can see the end at the light of the tunnel

Correct Cliché: I can see the light at the end of the tunnel

Fractured Cliché: Cross your I’s and dot your T’s

Correct Cliché: Cross your T’s and dot your I’s

Fractured Cliché: You can’t make a sow’s purse out of a silk ear

Correct Cliché: You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear

May the farce be with you!

Your IFF,

Pam
